About the Artist
Vibrant color and broad, definitive strokes are the trademarks of Anna Feld, a Katonah based artist. Trained in New York City at the Art Student League and the National Academy of Design, her work has been exhibited in a number of prestigious galleries in Manhattan, the greater New York City area, Connecticut, and New Jersey as well as many private collections.
Anna is the recipient of several esteemed awards including the O’Neill Award, the Lucretia Bori Foundation Prize, and the Alice Neil Memorial Award.
This exhibition features Anna’s reflections on Giverney, as well as selected paintings from her collection, exemplifying her wide range of subject matter. Viewing these invigorating and powerful works in person allows one to truly appreciate the subject and process behind each piece.
